What Payment Methods Does RidexTaxis Accept?

We accept the following methods on every booking:

You can pay online when you book, which most customers prefer because it means nothing changes hands at the end of the journey. Or you can pay cash or card directly to the driver. Either way, the price you were quoted is the price you pay.

One thing worth knowing: we only accept British pounds in cash. If you are arriving from abroad and only have euros or dollars on you, please plan ahead. The currency exchange desks at Manchester Airport are open before you reach the taxi pick-up area, so you have time to sort it out if needed.

No Surcharge. Ever.

Is it still okay to pay with cash in airport taxis?

Absolutely, cash payment is allowed for all rides. Our currency is only British pounds though. The banknotes of other countries like euros and US dollars are not accepted. In case you are traveling from overseas without sterling, you should either get your money changed at Manchester Airport or make use of your card.
